Data destruction in Merton
Data destruction for offices in Wimbledon and businesses in Mitcham, Morden and across Merton.
Secure data destruction in Merton
Wimbledon town centre is Merton's office district, with company headquarters, recruitment firms, solicitors and financial advisers within a few minutes of the station. Morden has the council's civic centre, and Mitcham and South Wimbledon have trading estates used by builders' merchants, caterers and light manufacturers.
Recruitment and financial advice are both built on personal information: CVs, references, identity checks, pension and investment details. When the laptops that carried it are replaced, we erase them with government approved software and issue an erasure report for each. Estates businesses use the same service for the office PCs that run their accounts and payroll.

How we destroy data
We agree the method with you before any work starts, based on the level of destruction you need and whether it has to be certified for compliance.
- Overwriting: old information is overwritten with new data, and the equipment can be reused or sold on.
- Degaussing: the magnetic field is eliminated and the storage device is destroyed at the same time.
- Physical destruction: disk shredding or crushing, which you can witness.
When the work is complete we issue a certificate of data destruction. Most jobs can be completed the same day, and there is no minimum order. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, data protection registration ZA060744.
