Data Destruction London is a division of Creative IT (company registration number 05022253), registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under number ZA060744. Creative IT is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.
What this website collects
When you just browse: nothing that identifies you. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. All fonts, images and scripts are served from this website. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
When you send a form: the details you type in, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, the address of the equipment and your message. The form is emailed to our team and is not stored on the web server. To stop spam and abuse, the server keeps a scrambled, non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address for up to one hour.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange the service you have asked for. Our lawful bases are your consent when you submit the form, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing by third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and delete them after that.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Call us on 020 7064 4996 or use the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Links to other websites
The map links on our contact page open Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy. Nothing is sent to Google unless you follow one of those links.
