Hard drive disposal and recycling in Greenwich
Hard drive and SSD destruction for Greenwich, Woolwich, Charlton and Eltham, close to our Bermondsey base.
Safe disposal of hard drives and SSDs in Greenwich
Because Greenwich is so near to us, drives collected here can usually be destroyed at our facility the same day. The riverside trade and retail parks at Charlton, the workshops of Plumstead and the offices of Eltham are all within easy reach.
If you prefer on-site destruction, we will come to you and crush or shred the drives while you watch. We handle standard magnetic hard drives and SSDs, and we can combine degaussing with physical destruction for sensitive loads. A certificate of data destruction is issued for every job, however small.

Disposal methods
We can dispose of all standard magnetic hard drives and SSDs. The method is discussed before the job, and two can be used together for a greater level of security.
- Hard drive crushing: the drive is physically crushed so it cannot be read.
- Hard drive shredding: the drive is cut into fragments, then recycled.
- Hard drive degaussing: for magnetic drives, removing the magnetic field that holds the data.
- Data deletion and erasure: for drives that are to be reused or sold.
When the work is complete we issue a certificate of data destruction. Most jobs can be completed the same day, and there is no minimum order. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, data protection registration ZA060744.
