Data destruction in Waltham Forest
Data destruction for makers, creative businesses, practices and public services in Waltham Forest.
Secure data destruction in Waltham Forest
Waltham Forest has become a centre for small creative and making businesses, particularly around Blackhorse Road and Wood Street in Walthamstow, where breweries, designers and workshops share former industrial buildings. Leyton has established industrial estates, and Chingford and Leytonstone have the professional practices of settled residential districts.
Small businesses often sell online and hold customer names, addresses and order histories for thousands of people. That makes them data controllers with the same legal duties as a large retailer. When computers are replaced, we erase them using certified software and supply a report as proof, at a price in line with other providers and with no minimum order.

How we destroy data
We agree the method with you before any work starts, based on the level of destruction you need and whether it has to be certified for compliance.
- Overwriting: old information is overwritten with new data, and the equipment can be reused or sold on.
- Degaussing: the magnetic field is eliminated and the storage device is destroyed at the same time.
- Physical destruction: disk shredding or crushing, which you can witness.
When the work is complete we issue a certificate of data destruction. Most jobs can be completed the same day, and there is no minimum order. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, data protection registration ZA060744.
