How we destroy data
We agree the method with you before any work starts, based on the level of destruction you need and whether it has to be certified for compliance.
- Overwriting: old information is overwritten with new data, and the equipment can be reused or sold on.
- Degaussing: the magnetic field is eliminated and the storage device is destroyed at the same time.
- Physical destruction: disk shredding or crushing, which you can witness.
When the work is complete we issue a certificate of data destruction. Most jobs can be completed the same day, and there is no minimum order. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, data protection registration ZA060744.
